    <descript>
Large Format Maps are hyperlinks to scans of the literature originally found in DOGAMI published and unpublished hardcopy holdings in the Portland and Grants Pass offices. Hardcopy was scanned and saved in .tiff format. Tiffs were then converted to PDFs. These documents were then related to associated MILO points by DOGAMI personnel. Understand that recreation in or around inactive mine sites is extremely dangerous, and can result in serious injury or death. Stay out and stay alive!
      <purpose>Large Format Maps is intended for use as reference material. This data set represents the documents that have been referenced to specific MILO point(s) in a many to many relationship.</purpose>

    <datacred>The Mineral Information Layer of Oregon Release 3 (MILO Release-3) is a large database developed over several decades by DOGAMIs researchers and reporters. Funding for the compilation of MILO Release-3 during 2018 to 2020 was provided by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program (NGGDPP) under assistance award G18AP00102.</datacred>

      <attraccr>Attribute accuracy is tested by manual comparison of the source and hard copy scans. The detail level (e.g. Title) of the source material and interpretation procedures for capturing that source affect the quality of the data. Fields that do not contain applicable attributes were left blank. Field checking of the data was not performed.</attraccr>

    <logic>Due to the many to many relationship some scans my be repeated, and/or some MILO points may be repeated. However no duplicated features exist although individual features may share some of the same attribute(s), but have differences in unique identifiers. Some documents are duplicated due to varying degrees in quality of scans, but each scan has its own unique identification. Because the data were collected and reported by numerous people, the descriptions provided are not highly consistent in structure or terminology or similar characteristics may be described differently.</logic>
    <complete>Attribution of the database is generally sparse, meaning that not all fields are attributed. These data are scans of the literature originally found in DOGAMI published and unpublished hardcopy holdings in the Portland and Grants Pass offices, some documents may not have been included. The tabular data are presented in the form of rows representing the relationship of the map to a specific MILO point.
