README The DOGAMI Desktop Images Series, Release 1, Lidar Geomorphology is a set of 25 lidar derived topographic images from across the state of Oregon. Release 1 is focused on interesting and unique geomorphology. The images were selected from all nine geologic provinces. Additional information about the provinces can be found at https://www.oregon.gov/dogami/learnmore/Pages/GeologicSightseeing.aspx. To install and enjoy the Desktop Images Series, Release 1, follow the instructions below.* Download the DesktopImagesRelease1.zip file. Unzip and save the folder to your hard drive. Inside the folder you will find the 25 desktop images and this readme file. For Windows users... Go to Settings/Personalization/Background. Under the "Personalize your background" section, set the dropdown menu to slideshow. Under the "choose a picture album for a slideshow" browse to the saved unzipped folder and select it (choose this folder). Under the "Change picture every", select the timeframe from the dropdown menu (1 min, 30 mins, 1 hour, 1 day). Under the "shuffle the picture order", select on for shuffled images. Choose a fit for your desktop image to "Fill" For Apple users... Right click on the desktop and click "Change Wallpaper" (This menu can also be accessed by clicking on the apple icon in the task bar, selecting "System Settings", then selecting "Wallpaper"). Scroll down and click on "Add Folder". Select the folder containing the desktop images. Once the folder appears in the list of available options, click on "Auto-Rotate" in the section for the folder that was just added. Select the frequency at which you would like the pictures to change. The desktop images will now change according to your preferences. * Individual computer system configurations may vary.
